Gloria Rayman, Senior Account Executive
Pittsburgh Business Times

How long have you worked at Pittsburgh Business Times, and what is your role?
I’ve worked at the Pittsburgh Business Times for 6.5 years; in my role I work with small to mid-size businesses looking to make business connections in the region and across the country.

What do you like most about working for the Pittsburgh Business Times?
I like representing the best business reporting in the city and region; I also like working with many of the top company’s in the region as clients.

The Pittsburgh Business Times hosts events frequently –  what is your favorite event venue and why?
My favorite venue is the ballroom at the Omni William Penn.  I really like old buildings and the Wiliam Penn has been preserved so well, especially the ballroom!  Plus the food is very good.

What are some of the primary resources the Pittsburgh Business Times offers that PSMA members can benefit from?
We now offer bulk digital subscriptions that are personalized for your company with easy access to multiple users – no more waiting for the person ahead of you on the routing slip to finish reading the print edition!   Of course we still have our weekly print edition and we can show you how to get the most out of the paper with a personalized seminar for your company at your location.

Are there any lesser known resources that members should be taking advantage of?
We now offer SEO and SEM!  We have the power of Advance Publications (our parent company and publishers of Vogue, Architectural Digest, Golf Digest, Bon Appetit, W, and The New Yorker among many others) behind this digital effort to help our clients get the most out of their websites.  Call me or Anita Alfonsi to find out more!

For marketers with limited advertising budgets, what’s the best way to get exposure in the Pittsburgh Business Times?
Submit a letter to the editor; make sure you let us know about  promotions and new hires by submitting them to our People on the Move section; announce an event; submit your company’s info for one of our Top 25 lists; nominate a person or company for an award; reach out to our editor or the reporter covering your industry and suggest a story.

Why did you decide to become a PSMA sponsor?
The Pittsburgh Business Times has been a sponsor for many years because it’s a great way to keep in touch with the legal and accounting industries in particular.
