About the Presenter

JEFF DUROSKO, President of Jeff Durosko Communications, is the former VP of Corporate Communications with Education Management Corporation, where he managed all aspects of public relations, including national media relations, event-focused media relations and trade media relations. Among his most high profile projects while there were The Art Institutes Best Teen Chef competition which garnered coverage on everything from NBC’s Today Show and the Ellen DeGeneres Show to Parade Magazine and CosmoGirl Magazine, along with local and national newspaper, magazine, television, radio and Internet coverage. He also created and managed EDMC’s first-ever work in the area of employee communications. His work at EDMC also included media placements in USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and numerous trade publications important to the organization, including Animation magazine and Chef Educator.


Since launching his business, Jeff has worked with a wide variety of clients on writing, strategic communications planning, crisis communications, media relations and event promotion projects. He is also an experienced media trainer, having conducted media and spokesperson training sessions for corporate leaders, school presidents and communications professionals.
